Already I’ve had 3 coworkers talk to me about DC United’s new signing for next season – 14-year old Freddy Adu. It’s great that this kid is already generating so much buzz for the team and league. He’ll be joining Bobby Convey and Santino Quaranta who also signed with United while teenagers, 16 to be exact. The Washington Post has a story where team officials and players are trying to temper expectations.
