Wii Fit & Wii Shortages
Gizmodo has a short video demonstrating Nintendo's Wii Fit, which uses the Balance Board accessory. It seems like a neat little gimmick, and for some folks maybe a good motivation to get more exercise.

World of Warcraft a failure?
So goes Chris Dahlen's article, I ran across on Slashdot. I can agree with some of his points, but the sheer number of players who play, and the fact that it currently is the only game I play when I have the time (maybe 4-6 hours in a good week), means Blizzard must have done something right. BitTorrent World of Warcraft patch
A lot of folks are complaining on the World of Warcraft forums about the slow peer-to-peer distribution system that Blizzard chose to distribute their game patches. I can't say I blame them, cause its painful to watch it download at a glacial 4 KB/s while a bittorent for the same file downloads at 210 KB/s.
