Arcade cabinets and emulators were the topic of discussion on slashdot recently when they linked to Aaron Mahler's site.

Arcade Cabinet Pictures

My summer project this year was to build a replica arcade cabinet to house a linux MAME box I had set up. First of all, I have to give a big thank you to my fiancee Staci for putting up with me, my obsessiveness about working on it, helping me to plan and do the work right the first time, and most of all for being a first rate assistant (even if she's power tool phobic). Also to my sister Patty who let me turn her basement and backyard into my shop and to my dad who provided a lot of guidance and manpower as well. The full stroy has pictures of the cabinet.

MAME Box Progress: TVout

Thanks to Google Groups and the "http://www.stud.uni-hamburg.de/users/lennart/projects/atitvout/">atitvout project, I got my
MAME Box outputting the display signal through the tvout. It didn't work until I changed my X-Free
