InPrivate browsing?

Surfing on the sly with IE8's new "InPrivate" Internet

Microsoft, The best protection it to fix security holes.

In any field, people have heard that its better to spend the time to fix the root cause of a problem than to just address the symptoms. It's not just common sense, but it costs lest in the long run too. You'd think the largest software maker in the world, would have this drummed into their collective brain by now, but you'd be wrong.

IE Complacency

Count me in this group of developers who wish Microsoft would fix their broken Internet Explorer. I also wish all you people out there still running IE 5.5 would upgrade too!

But Zeldman warned against wishful thinking, noting that with hundreds of millions of people using Internet Explorer around the world, it would take more than CSS-savvy developers like him and Microsoft's toolmaker competitors to persuade Microsoft to tend to a battleground it no longer considers contested.

Getting a better browser

Looks like Microsoft has given Mozilla, Opera, and other browser makers a small window of opportunity.
