Howard Stern played clips of Pat Robertson's rant this morning, and Sandy's post prompted me to post my thoughts as well. Can we stop referring to Pat Robertson as a Christian? I'm not sure what he is now, but he clearly doesn't believe in the same God that I learned about growing up. Remember, this is the same man that proposed our government assassinate Venezuela's president. Today, he's suggesting that disaster may strike a Pennsylvannia town because it voted out school board members who favored teaching creationism, I mean "intelligent design".

"God is tolerant and loving, but we can't keep sticking our finger in his eye forever," Robertson said.

Somehow, I don't think this is the same all-loving, all-forgiving God that Christ taught us about.
