If you missed, like Staci and I did^*^, the USA-Honduras game last night, you can view highlight videos. It was probably one of the most emotional US games of the last two years.

^*^We had to miss it because we are playing in a co-ed league and had a game scheduled at 7pm. Not upset that I missed it, we had a good game and I even managed to get a shot on goal.

If there's anything that can prove that FIFA's national team rankings are totally bogus, it has to be todays news that it the US team is #6 in the world.  There are at least 6 teams in Europe better than the US - England, Germany, Italy, Holland, Spain, France. Not to mention that any South American team save Bolivia and Venezuela would give the team fits.  Luckily, no one in the soccer world really takes these rankings too seriously. 

The rankings reward past accomplishments for way too long (France just dropped out of the top 5) and also more active teams will rank higher than common sense would dictate.
