The USA rebounded from Sunday’s loss with a convincing 2-0 win over Guatemala. The team looked a lot more offensive minded today. Some sharper shooting would have added to the goal total and made the win more satisfying. It was nice to see Steve Ralston get his goal, he’s been a solid MLS player since the league’s inaugural season when he won the Rookie of the Year award with Tampa Bay.
Meanwhile, against Panama, Mexico slipped up and conceded a 1-1 draw.
