The Recent ChampionsWorld Tour

There are those who like to see the occasional big team that’s coming through town and who don’t have any real allegiance to a particular team. It may be Juventus in a friendly or Brazil coming to play in a tournament. I have cousing like this in Bolivia who don’t attend domestic league matches but go to the World Cup qualifiers when Brazil or Argentina are playing.

Then, there is the group of fans who like to follow a single team’s ups and downs during a whole season. We agonize over each performance, dig up practice session reports, and check the standings each Monday morning. Individual games are great, but their more enjoyable in the context of the overall season-long competition. This is the kind of fan I am.
