Reading thumps Derby County 5-0 to win the Coca-Cola Championship, one week after earning promotion to the Premier League and with 5 games to spare. Reading midfielder Bobby Convey, one of my favorite players during his time at DC United, also earned a Player of the Month award for March. Next season, Reading will be playing at the highest division in English football for the first time in its 135-year history. It’s great to see Convey and goalkeeper Hahneman as vital parts to helping their club get promoted. It certainly raises the stock of American players further. Congratulations on a job well done!
